Tattoos for Self-Expression
By Pilot in Society | 0 comments
I’ve always been a fan of self-expression. Even as a young kid, I used to draw on my hands little temporary sun tattoos, where the rays stretched out across my fingers. The sun always had sunglasses and a big smile. I don’t know what that made me feel so cool, but I enjoyed it. I had friends ask me to draw little designs on their arms and legs.
These days I tend to take more permanent measures. I get the standard lower back tattoos, as well as other designs that I created myself. My favorite types of tattoos are those related to Chinese culture, like the Chinese words for peace and love I had tattooed above each of my toes. I have dragons as well around the sides of my chest and around my belly button. And of course, I had the sun immediately inked on the back of my hand.
The only worry I have anymore is that I will someday run out of space. There is only so much on my body that I can ink, and eventually I will either run out of room or look like someone dropped a giant paint bucket on my head. If that should happen, I’ll probably try to have kids. More canvas that way.
