Starting a Business: Commercial Properties Florida
By Pilot in Real Estate | 0 comments
I was planning to start my first business and wanted to find the best commercial properties Florida could offer to me. In my search, I concentrated on the following criteria to help me determine if the properties were the right match for me.
First, I looked at location. Everyone knows that location, location, location are the most important factors. My business was a retail shop, so I needed a good amount of traffic. A busy street, a shopping center (though I was not too keen on renting a space.)
My next search took me to tourism based areas. Since the commercial properties Florida could offer me in South Florida were in residential areas, this really helped to limit my search. My product would do well as tourism based business so being by the beach or in other popular areas was important.
Of course, there is also my budget to take into consideration. As I was looking for information on properties that were affordable to me in this type of location, I found several to choose from. I used the South Florida Chamber of Commerce to register my business (they also gave me a bit of help in finding the most appropriate financing for my business.)
I’m hoping my commercial property search pays off!!
