Article marketing is a great way to promote your business online. One of the biggest reasons that article marketing works is because it portrays your business as an expert in the field. The goal is to get your business’s name so connected with the industry or product that potential customers always automatically think of your business first. This is known as branding.

Marketing articles are often hosted on distribution sites that allow others to reprint the article, as long as your "resource box" — the sales pitch and company information located at the end of the article — is left intact. If your resource box is well written, readers will click through to your site, but at the very least they will begin to associate your company’s name with your product.
