While I may not be a sun worshipper, I do like to get and maintain a nice tan.  I am always on the look out for the best suntan lotion I can get.  There are so many different products out there for tanning that I sometimes find it confusing.  They all say that they tan, so how do I know which one is the best to use?

When looking for a tanning lotion I want one with all natural ingredients.  I’m very big on going as organic as I can, including my beauty products.  If I don’t want to put chemicals in my mouth, then I definitely don’t want to absorb them through my skin!  And all natural just makes sense to me to help me keep my skin and body as healthy as possible.

During the summer months, especially August, I like to use a dark tanning lotion so that my tan will maintain longer during the winter and I won’t have to visit the tanning bed as often.  I also choose to wear a sunscreen under my tanning lotion, which may seem strange but I believe that I can get a nice tan without worrying about skin cancer.
